Philippine Independence Day Celebration, Toronto, June 14, 2008

A 2-day event celebrating the independence of the Philippines was held at Toronto City Hall on June 14 and 15, 2008.

This is the 3rd year in a row that the Lian Gua Arts Group, together with iher sister team, Tian Guo Marching Band of Canada, was invited to participate in the parade. After the march, the Lian Hua Arts Group presented several stage shows to the delight of the audience members. The Master of Ceremonies praised the peroformers for their efforts and invited the Falun Gong members to return next year.
