Highland Creek Heritage Festival, Scarborough, June 14, 2008
On June 14, 2008 the 23rd annual Highland Creek Heritage festival was held in Scarborough.

The parade started at 11:00 A. M. at Centennial Public School. This is the first time that the Lian Hua Arts Group, together with her sister team, Tian Guo Marching Band of Canada, was invited to participate in the parade.
Onlookers were pleasantly surprised to see the colorful uniforms and hear the joyful performancve. Many crowd members smiled, waved and applauded the performers from these two teams.
When the band passed by the main stage playing “Maple Leaf Forever”, the announcer repeatedly exclaimed, “Wow” when seeing and hearing the band.
